We built this because we know the problem firsthand
Piramade was founded by Karina Siems, an Associate Technical Director in Structural Engineering and a Chartered Engineer in both Australia (CPEng MIEAust) and the United Kingdom (CEng MICE). Working internationally across complex projects (datacentres, gigafactories, schools, infrastructure, hospitals, and high-rise buildings) gave her a close view of how consulting firms manage, and too often lose, the knowledge embedded in their past work.
That observation was reinforced through conversations across an extensive professional network across companies and continents, from boutique specialists to large multidisciplinary practices. The finding was consistent: Every firm wants better reuse. Nobody has the time for manual archiving. And existing tools, built for generic document management rather than engineering context, have never been up to the job.
It's time to change that.

Our mission
Piramade exists to unlock the cumulative intelligence inside engineering firms. Years of hard-won knowledge (calculations, drawings, reports, specifications) sits buried in project folders, effectively abandoned. We believe that knowledge should be searchable, reusable, and compounding in value over time.

Our team combines consulting engineering expertise with software development experience.
